The Uvex Kidoxx Junior Riding Hat is manufactured with inmould technology; EPS foam is injected directly into an impact-resistant polycarbonate shell, ensuring this helmet is lightweight but fully protective. This construction ensures the helmet is robust, effectively absorbing impact in the event of an accident or fall and fully protecting your child's head.

The Uvex 3D IAS fit system gives three-dimensional adjustment enabling this helmet to closely fit virtually any head shape for the highest possible protection. This offers the helmet longevity while being cost-effective - the helmet can simply be altered as your child grows. The addition of the Fast Adapting System (FAS) chin strap makes sure that this helmet stays securely on the head in all situations and is easily adjusted to keep the strap in the best position.

It is NOT see-through, nor is it thick. I live in Arizona, in the desert part, where it gets hot. This tank is thin enough to keep me comfortable from May to October when the heat hits. It's hard for me to find the "perfect" tank. I've tried so many. I feel you would be wise to give this tank a try. Worst case, you return it. I love the orange one so much, I plan to purchase all the colors for this hot summer coming up. I wish all of you the same happiness I have found with the Automet tank top.
